When Alex and her fiancé Bryson reached out to me about an engagement shoot out west, I was on board in a heartbeat. Sedona in particular has been one of my favorite spots to capture to date! I’ve been there a few times now, and the bright red rocks against the sherbert sunrise is absolutely stunning.
The first location we went to was Airport Mesa for the sunrise, and my goodness, was it worth it! The colors of the sky changed almost every minute, and the hot air balloons looming in the backdrop made it even more incredible. For sunset, we hiked up Cathedral Rock with a backpack full of camera equipment and a rattlesnake sighting! If you want an adventure of a hike, Cathedral Rock is your best bet.
It was hard to choose just a few of my favorites from this engagement session, but I hope you find as much magic in them as I do.
